Delft, March 7, 2023 - IT service provider Interstellar has appointed Patrick Scherbeijn as Microsoft Alliance Director. In this role, Patrick will be responsible for further building and professionalizing company-wide collaboration with Microsoft. Patrick is the co-founder of communications provider Ask Roger!. This company became part of the Interstellar collection in November 2021.
All the companies within Interstellar work with Microsoft, but an enterprise-wide approach has not yet been implemented. Patrick Scherbeijn (50) has been given the role of Microsoft Alliance Director to bring Interstellar’s marketing and sales activities and practices more in line with Microsoft’s approach. Aligning its products and services with Microsoft’s offerings is also a focus for 2023. Interstellar’s ultimate goal is to become a leading Microsoft partner in the midmarket.
Patrick developed a successful partnership with Microsoft at Ask Roger!. In addition to ensuring technology alignment, he and his team developed several ‘co-sell ready solutions,’ including the ‘road to success’ developed in close collaboration with Microsoft. It is a methodology for converting a business question into technology and ensuring proper adoption through workshops and training. This leads to customers experiencing a smooth migration. Ask Roger! acquired a specialization for Teams Calling and Teams Meeting Rooms in addition to its Solutions Partner for Modern Work status.
Patrick on his appointment: “Within Interstellar’s various companies there is a great deal of knowledge and expertise. Including around Microsoft, of course. In addition to Ask Roger!, SCCT, CSN and Exite have also run many successful Microsoft campaigns. By advising the companies within Interstellar on how to achieve even better alignment with Microsoft, our entire portfolio will become more and more aligned with the Microsoft way of working and we will be able to collaborate even more easily. This can include aspects such as a joint go-to-market strategy, co-sell ready solutions and rapid onboarding. I am extremely excited to get started on this.”
