As you undoubtedly notice in your own work or in conversations with people around you, the way we work is undergoing a revolutionary change. The rapid integration of AI technologies into our daily tasks is taking off, as evidenced by a recent survey by Microsoft and LinkedIn among 31,000 professionals in 31 countries.

According to the 2024 Work Trend Index Annual Report, 75% of knowledge workers worldwide are already using AI tools in their daily tasks.

The report highlights two key findings:

AI and productivity:

The adoption of AI leads to significant improvements in efficiency and productivity. Users report that AI helps them save time (90%), focus on important work (85%), be more creative (84%), and derive more satisfaction from their work (83%). These benefits help companies remain competitive and innovative.

AI and career development:

AI is not only changing the way we work but also our career paths. 66% of surveyed HR managers say they no longer hire candidates without AI skills. This underscores the importance of continuously developing your own skills in this rapidly evolving technological landscape.

Lack of concrete plans

Unfortunately, there are also downsides. Despite many employees wanting to use AI and employers seeing AI as an important tool, companies lack plans to strategically implement AI. 60% of organizations have no concrete plans for this, and almost the same percentage (59%) struggle to translate gains from AI into actual productivity increases. Mapping out the actual returns on investment in AI proves to be a challenging task. How does an investment in AI pay off?

Illegal’ AI use: risks and solutions

There are also many concerns about data security and privacy. Without a clear strategy, rules are often lacking. 80% of employees use AI without employer permission. This poses a risk of leaking sensitive company information or inadvertently opening doors to cybercriminals through the use of the tools.

In short, the application and implementation of AI come with many challenges. Interstellar supports the deployment of AI in various ways. We do this on three fronts:

Strategy

Through an inspiration session, our professionals demonstrate the power of AI, from which we develop a clear AI roadmap together. We address your business goals and work culture to maximize the ROI of AI. We consider existing technology, explore which employee role an AI assistant like Microsoft Copilot is suitable for, and ensure a phased introduction.

Training in skills

For the proper use of AI, specialized training and workshops are beneficial to learn about the possibilities and make the most of opportunities. By gaining insight into how AI works, you can master the formulation of powerful prompts – textual AI commands – for the complex technology more quickly. Our adoption consultants provide customized training and workshops to master AI.

Security and Compliance

Thanks to our knowledge and expertise in cybersecurity, we support organizations in securing all data within the organization and ensure that AI applications can be used safely and responsibly. Our team conducts a quick assessment to identify current risks. Employees benefit from the advantages that AI offers, and your organization continues to comply with national and international regulations.

Growth through strategic application of AI

The integration of AI into work processes is inevitable and offers enormous opportunities for both employees and organizations. But the path to AI integration is complex and fraught with challenges. We provide what you need to navigate this technological shift successfully. By working together, we help you innovate faster, minimize risks, and stay ahead in the digital transformation.
